The current generation Tahoe receives some feature related changes and few mechanical updates. The power to the vehicle comes from a 6.2 liter V8 engine that produces power up to 390 hp. The updated features apart from the Tahoe tires, include navigation system with real time traffic information, integrated brake controller, Onstar system, heated and cooled front seats, Bluetooth connectivity and blind spot alert system.

The 2009 Chevy Tahoe, a family size sport utility vehicle is offered in four trim levels- the base model LS, mid-level LT1 and LT2 and an upscale LTZ. The standard features in the base model include MP3 capable CD player with an auxiliary audio input, built-in storage compartments, steering wheel mounted audio controls, trip computer, power accessories, 50/50 split bench third row seat and dual zone climate control.
The Tahoe tires are made using high quality rubber and these are wider in comparison to the previous models. These tires are suitable for any kind of road conditions, ranging from off road to slippery roads.
